The blog hasn't been updated in a little bit, the end of 2010 was very eventful and i didnt get much time to sit on a computer. I attended a wild night in Sydney for the Le boogie christmas party then ventured off to Samoa the next day for a week, arrived home for a night then drove 18 hrs south to score pumping waves for 2 days. By the time we got back it was christmas eve so the festive season began all the way through to new years eve in Byron Bay.
New years eve i made the mistake of not wearing shoes in a camp ground with thousands of drunken hooligans. Sure enough i stood on a broken bottle and cut the bottom of my foot. Ended up at the hospital for a few hrs but made it back before midnight with a few stitches.
A day or so later i had the worst pain of my life in my foot and new it wasn't right. I went to the hospital at home, they cut the stitches off too see the artery i cut had started bleeding again and caused 2 blood clotts... So i ended up with a few stitches on the inside to stop it bleeding, i am now stuck at home for a week not being able to walk and having to keep my trott elevated. Hopefully be back in the water next week!!
